@NumberThree Today’s strip – Andy is slightly funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp’s way of showing he is glad their guests finally left is priceless :o) right? my avatar is a real photo of a North Korean shooting range with a soldier holding the target , welcome back Starlet and have a nice day , our day being a Monday should be very busy as usual , but I hope we shall meet all our targets :o)
Second Frame – Andy’s guest’s body is facing front but his head is turned 180 degrees to look back at Andy’s house. Nice trick. He should be in a circus somewhere.
Had just the opposite problem this weekend at a birthday party. Several people showed up 1 to 2 hours late, ate (the host had to cook more food on the grill for them), and then left shortly after eating. They’ve done the same thing for the last 3 or 4 parties that we both attended.I’d stop inviting them if I was the host.
One of my cousins is like that. My uncle used to drop hints and say “God, Is that the time already?” I wasn’t there to see it but it’s what my Mum told me.
I would take a more direct approach and say “Get out of my house”
Well, Don’t keep us in suspense! Did you meet your targets?
I’m back on Cetitizine because my Hay Fever symptoms have returned. If I had my way, we would only have Spring, Autumn and Winter. I’ve never liked summer. That’s putting it mildly.
To be fair, Andy isn’t the friendliest person around. Seems nobody is these days. It used to that being friendly, sociable, and outgoing was perfectly acceptable. Nowadays, sadly, people who are extroverts are looking down on as hideous freaks of nature to be shunned at all costs. Truly, we are living in a messed up age.

Andy is never much of a host anyway.

I know how Andy feels. I have felt like that before myself.

As my dad used to say to my mom, “Let’s go to bed so these people can go home.”
