I think wedgies were inflicted more in elementary & Jr. High than in H.S. In the H.S. I went to, you were far more likely to have an âaltercationâ than to receive a wedgie.
Does anyone remember those little loops on the back of boys shirts? We called them âFruit Loopsâ and it was one of those things that if you saw one you had to rip it off and say fruit loop. Sometimes more came off than just a fruit loop and you put a pretty good tear in somebodyâs shirt. Oops!
I was always surprised that I was only accosted once in all my school years. Maybe it was because I was a bit taller than most, but I did wear glasses starting in 7th grade. The one time I was, I left him sitting dazed on the ground, so that might be why it never happened again after that⊠âș
