But having a daughter is awesome. I would not give her up for the world.
I used to tell parents of 4 year olds, “add ten years to this and you can get an advanced look at your future teenager”.
And she’s only having coffee?
Two useful parental phrases – 1). “… And then you did – - – -, right?” (They’ll be amazed that you caught them out), and 2). “You know that they know what causes that now, right?” (never a good situation when that one is needed).
They did start out as good eggs, however.
And Dad flew the coop.
