Back in the late 1990s, I did graveyard shift at an IT help desk for a large research university. Needless to say, you get some pretty strange (and sometimes highly amusing) calls at 3 or 4 in the morning.

The nightshift characters are from âScary Gary,â are they not? Though someone else will have to identify them individually.
You can get used to the night shift if you stick with it, but having to rotate shifts is murder.

Brother says he loved working that shift because it was quiet and he could get a lot more done.

The Steven King based film âThe Graveyard Shiftâ is one of my favorites. Has a real Lovecraftian feel to it.
