I’ve actually been in the Heart O’ Texas Coliseum. I watched Ron Brewer hit a 25’ turnaround jumper to beat Baylor in 1978. No sign of Elvis, although I thought I heard a weird, shrill, phantasmal noise faintly echoing through the rafters. Seeing Slim “Bullfrog” Whitman’s name on that poster explains a lot.

P.S. Besides Elvis and sporting events, there cannot possibly be any good reason to go to Waco.
