In this hot weather, I cut up watermelon, take out the seeds, and feed it my dachshunds. They love it and it helps keep them hydrated. You can freeze it for later hot days. Just make sure you thaw it first before feeding it to the dogs. Hot temps do not go well with frozen watermelon. The difference in temp can send the dogs into shock. Make sure the watermelon is thawed first.

We were told this avatar was a schipoo, but a mistake may have been made and she’s actually a dashpoo.

I have a dachshund and a chiweenie, and that’s normal behavior for both of them.

All dachshunds are like that. They think they are protecting the castle.

Mine keep the elephants out of the back yard.

I’ve got three or four elephants that keep trying to nest in my cherry trees.

Wally isn’t half as annoying as June is!

Wally is so seldom referred to as a dachshund; everybody calls him a weiner dog.
