Okay, please ready yourselves for a totally unAmerican feeling: GAWD, sports are boring! I mean hours watching some ball bounce/thrown/hit. I know, I know, my mother almost disowned me for this attitude. No therapist would take me on. . .thank you for letting me share. I’m quite sure if I said this in any of the venues where I am well-known, I would be ostracized and publicly shamed.
I never found sports appealing. At least the major team sports. Chess, bowling, volleyball and a few others interest me. But more playing than watching.
