What Joe SHOULD do is tell them, “I’ve signed you both up for a safe driving class that I want you to take before you kill somebody.”
I’m very surprised that Joe has never done anything about his mother’s reckless driving habits, since as a cop he’s probably seen his share of horrific accidents.
