lost historic sites of d.c. most of them too embarrassing to make it into the history books. washingto cool disco dan 1927 gonzaga the old capitol hill water tower, torn down to make room for the supreme court. note zeppelin hovering in distance over stadium for what was then the washington honest injuns football team. giant spittoon in front of american association of spittoon manufacturers. smithson's world renowned congress of wonders the original smithsonian institution. old department of truth, culture & beauty building. disbanded and demolished. now a starbucks. johnny reb says "welcome to virginia" where the confederacy begins sign, circa 1864. possibly still extant.

I look up extant every time to see if it still means exists.

If that is a zeppelin then it must be sometime before May of 1937 and the professional football team referenced is still playing in its original city of Boston. And while in Boston they played at Fenway Park and Braves Field. (Boston had two professional baseball teams at the time, the Red Sox and the Braves)
