July 21 is:

National Junk Food Day. I love Junk Food!

National Ice Cream Day. Ice Cream is one of my favorite junk foods.

National Be Someone Day. I would argue that all of us are “someone”. All of us are special and important.

I survived yesterday’s extreme heat – heat index was reported to reach 108° yesterday. I don’t have central air – just a big room air conditioner in the living room (which I left on all day while I was at work to keep my cats more comfortable) and a small air conditioner in my bedroom. No air conditioner here in the computer room and i was sweating bullets while I was on the computer last night. I went to bed at around 2:30 am but just before going to bed, I put a thermometer in here to see how hot it was. It was 90° in here when I went to bed. Tonight it’s better – only 85° and a LOT less humid, so I’m not at all uncomfortable.No sweat running into my eyes tonight! Surprisingly, I had no trouble getting to sleep last night despite the oppressive heat. Great weather coming up this coming week, with highs in the low 80’s & lower humidity. I’m looking forward to that!

How sweet of Annie to suffer through this play which isn’t going anywhere.

Never mind Snow White, with Chesney in charge, Much Ado About Nothing would be more apt. :D

Love today’s comic. Chesney could be both Grumpy AND Dopey since that’s the way he often acts. Oliver is sweet and nice, though.
