In some Asian countries, women traditionally give men presents on Valentine’s Day, and the men give women presents on “White Day” a month later. Frankly, this makes a lot more sense to me than the confusion surrounding Valentine’s Day in the west.
Lucy, you might get Schroeder to give you a present if you leave and promise to never come back again .. but I wouldn’t expect anything more than, perhaps, a stick of Wrigley’s.
I have spent a lifetime pondering this very question and after much introspection, soul searching, research, and contemplation, I’ve finally discovered that it’s a hot bowl of spicy queso, a platter of salty, crispy corn chips, and a couple of cold bottles of light ale. #TheMeaningofLife
I sincerely doubt Lucy has never gotten presents. She’s just trying to be her bossy self and force Schroder to do something he has no interest in doing.

Not in the meaning of your life, no, Lucy. Schroeder has no interest in your life at all.

Lucy, your life is a chord in D minor.
jpayne4040 about 5 years ago
If it has nothing to do with classical music, Schroeder is not interested!

In Schroeder’s eyes, if Beethoven never found the meaning of life, neither will he.

It’s pretty sad that Lucy feels her life is meaningless without Schroeder.
