I wonder how Annie pays the electric bill? That’s okay – it;s a comic strip. It doesn’t have to be true to life.

July 23 is:

National Vanilla Ice Cream Day. So I’ll be eating the vanilla ice cream tomorrow. And even though I declared yesterday that this is going to be Ice Cream Week for me, I don’t really plan on eating ice cream every day this week.

Gorgeous Grandma Day. So Happy Gorgeous Grandma Day to all the grandmas out there. I will never be a grandma since I never had kids, but a couple of my cats (Dolly & Cassie) have kids, so I guess I’s qualify as a cat grandma. I wouldn’t call myself gorgeous, however.

Lovebug sees the vet at 3:00 this afternoon. A followup from her last visit to see how she’s doing. She had an off day on Monday – spent most of the day hiding in a corner of the bathroom and she would not eat the caned food I offered her (and I tried 2 different flavors). But late in the evening, she came out and climbed in my lap and stayed there a while. I tried feeding her again before coming on the computer and she licked her bowl clean this time. I don’t know what to make of any of that, but I’l see what the vet has to say in about 12 hours from now.

Good morning, all. Yum Yum is having one of her daily cat fits, She sails out the door, runs around the parking lot, back into the house, around the house; rinse, repeat.

On vacation with family …. gotta run! Hello to Tad1 and MUDD. Will try to catch up Friday.

I thought cats could see in the dark!

I’m going to quibble here. This is a great comic but the above commenters are ignoring it in favor of personal comments about their own lives. Why is TAD1 more important that the strip?

Open letter to Chesney – if this wasn’t a comic strip there would never be electricity in the old warehouse. And no Annie to feed you either!

How do you pay for “lights” that come on at dawn and go off at sunset ?

Typical of Chesney to blame Annie. I wish he’d cut her some slack.

Saw a deer while out walking today.
