The best answer you could have give her, Chuck.

I always felt PP’s nose doesn’t really look any bigger than anyone else’s in the strip.

God loves you, and you must love yourself. Everything else is ephemeral.

PP, just wait for a certain someone who addresses you as ‘Sir’.

Don’t be ridiculous, Patty. Your nose is literally no different than everyone else’s.

Or maybe it won’t and you will die hideous and alone is the unspoken second possibility.

The title panel has Peppermint Patty almost at the finish space in some board game.

And maybe some people just could not care less about nose size, Patty…

Snoopy has a good sized schnauze and he’s a stud.

It’s not the size of your nose, it’s what’s inside that counts.

It would be a tiny nose over at Wizard of Id.

CB is lucky he didn’t get flattened for that answer

I didn’t care for CB’s answer. He is saying that she is NOT lovable UNTIL her nose catches up to her face. And…he says “maybe” it will. So, she will not be lovable if it never happens. Good thing PP doesn’t realize this.

Peppermint Patty – your nose appears to be the same size as Chuck’s. Why don’t you do like Steven Stills suggest and “Love the one you’re with”?

Whatever you do, PP, don’t get a nose job! If that “special” guy doesn’t love you with your own nose, then he doesn’t love you at all!

True story. My wife has a bump on her nose; she claimed it was caused by falling off a horse when young. I believed this for 35 years until my daughter grew up, and suddenly realized they had the same nose. This just happened last year, that I finally noticed.

Everybody loves somebody sometime.
