This strip has grown on me, in an amazing fashion. When I first encountered it here, it struck me as amazingly blah - well drawn, but not interesting at all. Now, though, i’m trapped by it, and pretty totally astounded by it, ‘most all of the time. Great job, Aaron, just great.

I imagine it’s the pairs that produce cross-breeding and results in the production of something like the Morlocks in H.G. Wells’ Time Machine.
