Back in the 70s in central Oklahoma, there use to be one of those really loud, obnoxious used car salesman that seemed to be on every commercial break on late night TV. One night we’re watching and his ad comes on, and it’s just him sitting there looking at the screen. After about 25 seconds of nothing he says “This moment of silence was brought to you by …”
There’s some app doing that on TV now, but it doesn’t have the same impact.
