Why doesn’t Earl ever walk Muffins?

Muffin’s not his cat, Llewellenbruce It’s Opal’s. And Earl wants to part of that monster.

If only Rosco could work a can opener, he’d be the perfect pet.

I have actually did that. I would give Chester(my dog) his leash and he would walk with it. How cool. When My other one came along, she told him how stupid he looked, he doesn’t do it anymore.

The property I live on is big enough that I don’t use a leash most of the time. Only when the coyotes or hawks are out (my dog’s rather small).

He was’nt trained, he was railroded.

As a long-time fan of this comic, I can tell you that Earl has walked Muffin (at Opal’s insistence, naturally,) & Muffin climbed a tree while attached to the leash in one strip & climbed Earl in another strip. It was very funny!

When I got to the last panel I burst out laughing! Very good!

When I got to vanpelt’s comment, thought I would sh * T myself! ::-D
