I’m afraid that I’ve never understood this practice. Why don’t men just buy proper fitting pants in the first place?
GretchensMom: Actually, those ARE proper-fitting pants. Since clothes don’t move with your skin, they tend to bunch in one of two ways:
Clothes that have a proper anchor point (skirts, shirts, non-strapless dresses, overalls) tend to ride up unless pulled down.
Clothes that don’t have a proper anchor point (pants, strapless dresses, old-fashioned nylons) tend to ride down unless pulled up.
But, you know, just the look of satisfied self assurance says it all.
