Methinks this applies to our country’s political wrangling. We have so much in this country for which to be thankful…and we have plenty of work to do to make it better for those who have less. It would be helpful if folks would make an assessment of their situation, weighing plusses and minuses and then, seeing how full our individual glasses are, turn our efforts toward helping to fill up those who have fractions less than we do. End of sermon.
One way to fix it: one brother divides, the other chooses. My sister 2nd of 9 was never happy with me, thought I always cheated somehow and stole something she wanted or just hit me. She has two psych diagnoses and is on meds and I still won’t go near her. Something cut her empathy in half and hid it.

Would it upset your little metaphysical world if I told you that my brother stole my glass?
