I get a few mice every fall, but I got a cat with no skills, so the responsibility is all mine.

Rats and mice are vermin and carry diseases, and I’m surprised the crew hasn’t gotten sick. Or maybe their fantasizing these vermin anthropomorphically is the disease. (Oh wait, this IS a comic strip,)
