It’s finally cool enough to cover up in bed. Just the way we like it.

a loathsome Monday which Garfield can enjoy

Not that he needs an excuse to stay in bed.

I love these kind of days.

What a coincidence, it rained here in Aiken this morning (but I’m still getting up).

OH, great. The weather supports Garfield’s Monday habit.

Jon, bring out the pizza scented air freshener, that will get Garfield going.

My girls get to stay in bed today; it’s Columbus Day & no school. My husband & I, unfortunately, still have to go to work. (Columbus Day isn’t a “market Holiday”, and my husband doesn’t get any Holidays off.)

Garfield would have found ANY excuse to stay in bed!

We had bad weather, though the rain was much appreciated, last night. This morning is bright and sunny. It’s the start of a beautiful week and the fair is in town.

Today’s Forecast: It’s Monday, what’s more to say?

I wish I could really, actually, hear that forecast just once.

Existentialism is a philosophy for creating excuses for staying in bed.

Finally a small victory over Monday for Garfield!!!

I think Garfield rigs the tv to say that forecast EVERY day.

The excuse for Garfield to get out of bed: “Lasagna!”
