There was a time there was going to be a third kid after me, but it was later miscarried. So my older brother and I are the only kids our mother and father ever got.

I am going to guess that Greg is the couple of flats and Connie is the burned-out engine.

Either way, I’m sure not going to touch that line.

I had wanted more children but after several miscarriages after my first two boys, it wasn’t meant to be. I had wanted a girl. But now I have a granddaughter and she is the best.

I think that might be the most risqué line I’ve ever seen in this particular comic strip.

This particular scene made me think about the FanFic, Who Murdered Elly Patterson and this could definitely be one of the main reasons why Connie did it lol

I had a neighbor that adopted. A year later she had twins.

I prefer the term unexpected surprise. I don’t believe a baby is an accident.

Have Connie and Greg tried adoption?

I don’t remember Ellie having all this negativity. I remember two neighbors looking at Ellie and saying she looks pregnant at her age and then April!

Someone probably had a leaky radiator too.

Hmmm… How would that be an accident, if you were trying?

This strip is very sad and probably hurts those who have wanted to get pregnant. Would prefer something a little more light.

I have been watching The Tudors on Netflix, about King Henry 8th. His attitude about pregnancy was the exact opposite, and so were his wives. His remarks were akin to “I have a son? Thank you, Jesus!”

Happened to a family member – years of trying, and finally adopting. Then bingo! A pregnancy! Several people asked her if she was going to send the adopted back now.

Or maybe she’s literally talking about accidents involving their car.

I dont like the phrase accident when it involves having a baby. If you’re doing the deed there is always a chance getting pregnant is going to happen.
