seriously, John? even crab, liver pâté, and smoked oysters? what cravings do YOU get, mister, when Elly was pregnant with Michael and Elizabeth?

I notice that the oranges John was pooping out yesterday are nowhere to be seen on that table. That’s probably a good thing.

And here I thought it was the pregnant wife who always had the craving.

At least Elly’s book isn’t Pregnancy for Dummies.

Enjoy it now John. Flash all that food in front of her in a few months when she’s dealing with powerful food cravings, and you could lose a hand reaching for something.

John doesn’t read the same “Good Eating” articles as Ellie.

I thought Ellie was suppose to get the cravings.

AT least with hubby feeding the cravings, Lynn and the baby won’t have to worry about having gas….

The licorice is good. If you have the right brand, like Venco. Klene should be left on the shelves.

I don’t think that excuse applies to you, John!

When I was pregnant I never had any cravings. I was kind of disappointed. Actually, I read that it’s a form of pica and the prenatal vitamins take care of it.

What? no oreos??? come on….

Cheese Blams? Boy, those are gonna back up someone’s innards!

When pregnant with a girl, I craved salty ham and crackers. When pregnant with a boy, sweets jelly beans in particular. Your tongue actually changes.

Using your wife’s pregnancy as an excuse to buy snacks you’re not suppose to have? Shame on you, John.

John certainly has an ecletic palette —ranging from liver pâté, crab, and capers to cheeze blams and licorice. (Nice to see the stereotypical pickles and ice cream included as well.)

Most of those are salty things. My kind of guy!

this is what it’s like when my husband does the grocery shopping.

With my first son my cravings were Dill Pickle Chips. The sort you put on hamburgers. The thing is I didn’t want the pickle juice. I’d empty the jar of dill pickle chips of their brine and fill the jar with Italian dressing! People would pucker up just watching me eat a bowl full. I went through jars!

With my first pregnancy it was hot fudge sundaes. With my second I had no cravings. (But I still crave a hot fudge sundae occasionally, especially Dairy Queen.)

Where can I get some of those Cheese Blams?

That’s a whole new spin on “we are pregnant.” If he starts eating like that, he’ll looks like he’s expecting as well.

This is also what happens when you go grocery shopping while hungry.

Is that “BLUE BELL” ice cream on the table, way up in Canada? You better get it in the freezer, quick!

Not only did I have food cravings when my wife was pregnant, now that my youngest is pregnant, I’m having them again. ;)

At least he got a couple of apples. Some nutrition, among all the salt…

I’m jealous, they can buy licorice all kinds (licorice all-sorts) any time they want ! they don’t sell them in America, growing up in western NY they were a staple. sometimes i can get someone from Scotland to send me a bag. such good candy!! lollllllllll

A friend of mine related that her hubby was bringing home…a “Junior’s cheesecake” every week during her pregnancy.

Barbecue beef ribs for me.
