“Lost” is in quotations. To whom did he “give” it, I wonder?

So should I be keeping a running tally of how many times this guy’s probably shot himself in his own foot? Because he seems to be really racking it up.

Yeah, definitely a conspiracy going on here. Someone’s made off with this guy’s theory, probably so to use it for nefarious intent, and is now using him as the fall guy to cover up for it.

An additional, but scary, idea is that whoever has done this may have already put said theory into practice—that’s how this guy has been assigned the death penalty so suspiciously easy for crimes that seem ill-suited for it.

I love the smell of conspiracy in the morning. While we’re at it, maybe Judge Adderstone and Dr Flack are in on it together.

The complexity of all this is intriguing. I enjoy the various theories of my fellow-commentators, but I just wait to see what happens next – on the edge of my seat…

If it is untested it is a hypothesis. When it is tested multiple times and prove it works it becomes theory.

Some Judge feeling his Inquisitor oats here sentenced the poor fellow to death for just a written down hypothesis. Unless it concerns forbidden magick that is like of a necromancer which the Hebrews were warned not to practice.
