Cats in Congress? Say it isn’t so!

A dream is but a wish.

They need to find a sugar daddy, one with a supply of tuna and shrimp tails of course!

I would like to dream I had millions of dollars. I’d like it even more to HAVE millions of dollars! It wouldn’t have to be a LOT of millions – just 2 or 3 million would make me very happy.

Today is:

National Sons & Daughters Day. Do “sons” & “daughters” with fur count? My cats are the only kids I have.

Play in the sand day. How my brothers and I used to love to play in the sand! Every few years or so, our dad would order a whole truckload of sand and have it delivered to our back yard. It didn’t cost a lot that way and it gave us plenty of space to play in. No teeny little sandbox or tractor tire sandbox for us!

National Spirit of 45 Day

National Raspberry Bombe Day. Yeah – that’s how they spelled it – bombe – whatever that means.

To Mary from yesterday – I’ve never been camping, either.Though I love being outdoors, camping just is not my “thing”. I like sleeping in a bed at night, not in a sleeping bag on the ground or in a tent. But I do s’mores on the backyard grill.

I’ve managed to briefly look through the last week’s worth of comments, and the unwelcome (but unfortunately expected) news of Tabby’s crossing of the Rainbow Bridge was unfortunately the ‘Lowlight’.

You have my deepest sympathies Bob, I’ve lost many and it doesn’t get any easier, but the good memories will remain, even if they take a little while to resurface.

All cats dream, but not equally. Those who dream in their sleep will wake to find that it was vanity. But those who dream while awake will act their dreams with open eyes to make them possible. Apologies to TE Lawrence.

Dream bigger, kitties. How about a lovely, warm mansion filled with fireplaces, squishy and comfortable furniture, cat toys everywhere, personal chefs, and Annie having lots more free time for snuggles.

A RARE and welcome mention from Mr. Hollingsworth, This Side Up and Route 9. Hearing more of their stories would be most welcome.
