    Happy Sunday Vagabonds

Once again it’s mix of sun and clouds today and a high of 62.

I’m afraid our foliage gotten past peak, so sad. I try not to think about what’s coming, Rita’s had a taste of things to come and I saw a picture of a truck on Facebook with a full load of snow from the storm in North Dakota.

Well, I’ll get ready for church soon then after we’re having a bit of beef for dinner. (^.^)

May your day be easy peasy and God keep you close.

    Good Early morning, Vagabonds,

It seems like I just can’t sleep past 5 a.m. any more. It’s still dark and lots of stars are still out shining down on us. And,it’s all the way up to 32. WooHoo!

Nothing thrilling going on today. I still need to take it easy after that pesky cold/flu I had. Jack caught it too.

Jan, I’ll try your tater tot casserole later this week after I get some tots. Does it get mushy from the canned soups? I know you don’t dilute them, but…..

    Xoxo. Happy Trails

Good morning Vagabonds.Has turned out to be a nice morning sunny with temp at 55 and expected to go to mid 60’s.

We didn’t get as much rain as they expected because the storm went further out to sea. We only got 1 3/4 inch of rain.

Will go out later and do some more yard clean up getting rid of the rest of the tomato plants in the garden so I can put it out for yard waste pick up.

Then I will do some more pruning along the side of the house where it got away from me.

I don’t have to get it all done today.

I don’t know if you people in other parts of the country celebrate Columbus Day as we do.

In some locations we have festivities with parades and get together’s. Even some stores open but schools are closed.

Hope you and Jack get better soon Rita as a cold can be a pain in the neck.

May you all have a good weekend and peace to you all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

When we were kids in CA, the schools were closed for Columbus Day. Not anymore, nor around here. I don’t see much planned at all. One year before I was born, there was a huge storm in my home town in Oregon. The citizens of North Bend still talk about the Columbus Day storm.

Mark, your foliage may be past prime, but if you read Crankshaft, they would have you think that none of the leaves have even turned yet.

Today is a good day for reading, sewing, ‘tooning and kitten play. I think I’ll do just that.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good sunny afternoon Vagabonds.

Not much happening here today. Had a good morning going in church. Low turnout as a lot of the military take the opportunity to go visit friends and family over the long weekend. We had Fall Fest on Saturday and a lot of venders and crafters were out in the town square. Always a good time.

All this correspondence about tater tot casserole makes me want one. Of course I also am hungry for a Frito pie casserole, maybe later in the week when the temperatures drop again.

    Everyone have a wonderful day.
