That diner’s making a good profit off a can of sardines and a bag of Frito Lays.

Last night as I finished my lobster and shrimp, I thought to myself, “See, I do know how to shop.” Course on Valintines’s Day, I had to shop at 6AM.

The unsung Sardine - Do you think that Diner is very selective about what “kind” of Sardine they buy Ziggy? Unless it comes from clean Mediterranean waters, I’m sure it smells fishy. However those tiny sleek and silvery little sardines are packed with a powerhouse of nutritional value. So, don’t look so disappointed. Maybe he thought you needed some Tryptophan.

I once ordered a pizza with anchovies. But the idiot behind the counter didn’t have any, so he substituted sardines. Fish is fish, right?

Would his surf and turf be a glass of salt water and a few plugs of zoysia grass?

High in omega 3s and long on stench. Make sure it’s with Pringles so the fish aren’t the only thing from a can.

My Dad loved sardines. He probably wouldn’t have minded at all. But me, yuck!
