Maybe you should do the packaging of “family-sized” foods, Peter.

I had one of them at home. Beefed him up to 185 lbs so he could play football. Saw nothing of him but his rear end sticking out of the refrigerator. Finished the season at 165 lbs. Needless to say, although he enjoyed playing the sport a lot and made the team, he was never going to turn pro.

If you have a teen age boy, you need to shop at Costco.

Wait a minute. He wants some of his mom’s egg salad? Does tofu lay eggs?

You all know how big a Soup pot is, don’t you? My early’teenage son finished off an entire Soup pot of minestrone in one night… when I was his age, a pot that size used to feed a family of 5 for two maybe three days… This always hungry kid finished it off in one night… Maybe that’s why I didn’t grow taller… There’s no way I could have finished an entire Soup pot of minestrone by myself ….in one night… LOL

We were dirt poor when I was growing up, and my brother was eating us out of house and home. My parents did the math and found out that sending him to military boarding school was cheaper than feeding him at home. A GOOD military boarding school. But they wouldn’t send him and keep me at home (talk about kids getting mixed messages…), and, me being a short girl, the money wasn’t there for us both going.

Moral of the story – if your teen son is breaking the bank with eating, look into boarding schools!

Peter must have the highest metabolism in the world, eating the way he does and never gaining any weight.
