The problem is not Annie, but the fact that she is dealing with a health issue that has caused her to grow up. When put with kids her own age she doesn’t get along because those kids have no clue what she’s going through. Add to that, she is around a lot of adults. Maybe asking Annie who she’d like to be around would be a good first step.
