I was one month away from being 5! I don’t know if I cried. I probably didn’t even know it was the last show.

…aaaand so did everybody else your age; driving, through the years, the evolution of the overblown series finale sendoff

Their job is to get you to watch. If that means making a big deal of the finale, that’s what they do. If you get sucked in, that’s on you.

I must confess I cried at the final episode of “Northern Exposure.” With Iris DeMent singing her song “Our Town,” it was very poignant.

I cried when Roy Rogers and Dale Evans said this was their last show, and last time singing ‘happy trails’….I too was 5 or 6, but if I watched it again today, i’m sure i’d tear up

And that the first and last time that Clarabell the clown talked.
