That’s true, tmt. I can keep a secret as long as it’s supposed to be a secret. Ted and Connie splitting isn’t exactly secret, it will be obvious to anyone paying attention. Elly just wants to talk about it with someone.
While true, lightenup, that Ted and Connie’s break-up won’t be a “secret” for long to anyone who knows them, I’m just one of those people who think that if Connie wants anyone to know about it sooner rather than later, then it should come from her — not Elly — to her friends. Connie told her this information in confidence and it’s not Elly’s news, or place, to tell anyone else. Unfortunately, she seems to be one of those people who has to impress everyone with the fact that she was “in the know” regarding this juicy piece of gossip before everyone else!

I told myself but of course again, myself didn’t listen!

To be fair, that’s only true of some women. Or men.

Men don’t need to keep secrets. Mostly we just don’t care about them. And gossip is even lower on our evolutionary scale.

@Darkeforce I work with 2 men who are the BIGGEST gossips I know! And half the time when they repeat the gossip they get it wrong anyway!
