Does anyone else think those Apple wireless earbuds are the ugliest thing ever?

Now, earbuds are easier to lose than socks in the dryer.

And when they broke, they broke together. It was a “Romeo & Juliet” kind of thing.

It’s all about being an individual even when claiming to be part of a pair.

and, they didn’t have redundant processing, and they didn’t require to have charge on both the device and earpieces, and didn’t require to drag along another charger, and they would not get lost just by running, and could have better audio quality as they used the phone amplifier and not an amplifier inside the same earpiece (each one with its own), and didn’t require yet another change in the audio signal (instead of converting to audio in the device they are converted to wireless streaming, and there is additional processing to convert that wireless streaming into audio), etc etc.

Not as if they just invented bluetooth, or as if previous phones didn’t have the possibility to use those in case anybody wanted them, but since they had to make it different to previous models they just removed options and for fanboys that is such a breakthrough

My hearing aids are bluetooth enabled. I don’t need to worry about the other styles of earphones. I sometimes listen to audio books through them and my wife wonders about the strange voices she hears near me. I tell her they’re just the voices in my head arguing a little loudly.
