Girl: Did they catch the truck driver? Louis: Yup. Turns out he was drunk. Girl: How did you find out? Louis: Well, they went out to dinner, and when they were late coming back, I knew something was wrong. Louis: Did Ms. Hamster ask about my book report? Girl: LOUIS! YOU obviously don't have to do any of that now! Not even the Ecology project! Girl: So...what will you do now? Louis: I dunno. Live with my grandparents in Boston, I guess. Louis: But they may be too old...my uncle's family lives in Phoenix, but I don't want to go there. Louis: My cousins are babies, and when we visited once, the kids out there seemed really weird. Louis: I might sell the house. Use the money to run away... Girl: OH, LOUIS! DON'T DO IT! DON'T GO AWAY! Father: Hi, Louis. We're home. Louis: Where were you? You're late! Mother: Louis, take it easy. We said we'd be home around 9:00. It's 9:06! Louis: Whatever.

Right-click on the line ‘Tom the Dancing Bug’ (under the title, above the share/add to/, etc. buttons) and ‘save link as’ to download the comic.

I don’t see the comic and when I try the download thing I get a grainy, 4 MB TIFF file that cuts off most of the right side of the comic. BUT MAYBE THAT’S PART OF THE JOKE!

Bolling explains on his blog that this is the first week both boing boing and gocomics made him upload the comic himself (instead of e-mailing it to them for upload), with disastrous results

For me, the problem is the image is a .tiff image. Not all browsers can display the image in this format. But I could download a very good copy of it with the right-click, Save-as thing and then previewed it on my desktop.

Got here late. Image clean. Words legible. Drama succinct. Humanity revealed. My folks never went anywhere, and suddenly when they did I was certain they were dead on the freeway. Freedom isn’t as much fun with carcasses, imaginary or not.
