“Experts” now say that children who abused animals as kids grow up to abuse kids as adults.
“Experts” say a lot of things. In some instances there is a shred of truth in them. Broad generalizations probably win a lot of government grant money, but eliminating all other factors is extremely difficult.
It’s called " Wonder what would happen if" science experiments….

Personally, I always preferred to pull the wings off flies and then herd them like sheep he said in his best Boris Karloff voice!

I think the response in the last panel is too mild. I’d like to subject people who do such things to the same treatment they mete out.

In regard to the strip….ants sink WITHOUT pulling off their legs.
