Leave it to Lily to want an upgrade. BTW I love Baked Alaska, even made it a few times. It’s easy.

I prefer my ice cream without sprinkles. Salmon sprinkles sounds really awful!

World Letter Writing Day. Letter writing seems to be a lost art. I used to write a LOT of letters to family & friends. I especially liked writing to my sisters. I don’t remember how it started, but somehow Martha and I started a sort of contest to see which one of us could write the longest letter to the other. It went on quite a while before Martha conceded defeat after I wrote a letter that must have been 25 pages long (written longhand – this was before computers made letter writing easier and at the same time less necessary because then you could use email instead). I don’t write letters anymore and I miss writing and receiving letters in the mail.

It’s like “The Family Circus,” only with funny words & pictures.

Roy Batty has recently discovered ice cream, he waits by the freezer after dinner and if I pull out a pint or quart of ice cream he goes nuts and starts purring. He will jump on the desk or my lap and generally make a pest of himself until I put it away. Unless its Chocolate he always gets a taste, he loves Banana the most, Peanut Butter is a close second

Since I enjoy cat cartoons and the picture BBear and MCTS post, my wife gave me a picture book of cats on catnip for my birthday.

Believe it or not, they have seafood flavored ice cream in Japan. (Crab, octopus, fish, shrimp, etc.) That’s weird, but I’m sure the kitties would love it. On another note, saw two dragonflies while out walking today.
