Didn’t you used to play there quite often, Leopold? I seem to recall you saying that it was one of your favorite chilling grounds—or something like that….
A gruesome death at the rail road yards. Reminds me of the first and best “Fright Night” film (1986). The vampire left many a headless corpse behind—-usually of beautiful women. (He sucks them dry then makes sure they will not come back as one of his sires.)

Abandoned rail yards, hot beds of gruesome discoveries.

No need to make a sandwich, Leopold. Sounds like there will be plenty of snacks at the rail yard!

I was expecting Leopold in panel 3 to say: “That was yesterday.”

I thought, for sure, that Leopold would “own up” (brag) that the gruesome discoveries were the results of something he had done.
