Ain’t that the truth! And the larger the cup you order, the more you overpay.

I’m glad I don’t drink coffee.

Especially if you buy from Starbucks. Unless you’re in law enforcement then they’ll refuse to serve you.

…when a coffee cost more than a beer…

… it just makes sense to drink beer for breakfast…

Whoever thought up Starbucks was a genious. Buy a dollars worth of ground coffee, add a little water, give it a fancy name and sell it for $1000.

That’s why your only beverage is 5L boxed wine, Aunty. Much less expensive per fluid ounce than Stare Bucks expensive black water.

I am not a good American. I am a poor consumer. I don’t buy stuff I don’t need and I don’t replace with the latest and greatest unless what needs replacing no longer works. I’ve never gotten into fancy stuff – I don’t even know who the Jones’ are, much less am interested in keeping up with them.’

I never got into the Gospel according to the Rolling Stones, “My buddy can’t be a man ‘cause he doesn’t smoke the same cigarettes as me.” I don’t get my satisfaction from out-competing my neighbor.

So regular, from-the-can, brewed in a Mr. Coffee, coffee is good enough for me.

We get our coffee from Arbor Day Foundation. Good stuff. Yeah, we’re old ’60s tree huggers.

Or, more accurately: Brown Water.

I do indeed enjoy good coffee, but I can make it just as good or better than Starbucks. Hey I used to even roast my own coffee for many years until I got lazy.

Latte actually means milk. Cappuccino is a made up word for the coffee drink. But I get the humor – any drink with an Italian name is “gonna cost you!”

Isn’t it “damn” coffee?
