Don’t walk turtles home either.

Today is National Cheese Pizza Day.

For me, it’s also payday and there was a bonus on our checks this week. We can get bonuses every 4 months if our sales are good enough and we’ve done pretty well getting them lately. I don’t remember the last quarter where we did not get at least a small bonus. This one was pretty good, but not our best ever. We get bonuses in March, June, Sept and December.

I just looked at yesterday’s comments. Welcome back, Tad!

UPDATE: the heart doctor increased one of my meds to slow my heart down. My pulse varies between 108 and 120, but my blood pressure is good.

Lest we forget, snails and turtles carry their homes…how fast could you move “under” those circumstances? Lol…and ladies…how heavy are our purses?! Yup…just sayin’….gotta love the “kid!”

Yikes…the roofers returned just minutes ago…weren’t expected til Monday. Apparently they wanted to complete more before rain Friday. My cats are fascinated by the ladders out front, while the dog guards the front door.

Hi Everyone,

I am finally home, back from the hospital and rehab/ retirement home.

Aug 6 to Sept 5…a whole month shot. A “simple procedure”- – - my behind. I have lots of instructions to follow from the doctors.

You won’t be hearing from me for a while, my email inbox is stuffed full, and I need to read a month’s worth of my “faves”.

I thank everyone who has “booped, prayed, sent good thoughts, etc. for me in the last month.

Silly kitty.

He’s a snail. He’s already home! :D

Work (and most schools) closed tomorrow. Not much yet. Expecting things to start in wee hours of the morning. Sounds like here will be mostly a rain and tide event with some winds. At least I can sit tight at home.

Oliver is such a nice guy. Good for him to help that snail, even if it did make him get home late. that For some reason, I find snails more likable than slugs. Maybe it’s because snails don’t try to eat up garden like slugs do. On another note, saw a rabbit while out walking yesterday. Saw two crows on the way from work today. (Didn’t see any snails, though.)
