Yeah, it’s not just drinks at a bar. Recently, I was in a long discussion about why media is so full of repeats, reboots, and huge franchises like STAR WARS and THE AVENGERS. It all boils to the audience wanting the same thing over and over again like small children picking the same bedtime story to the point of the ridiculous, and the ease of advertising and getting people in seats with known market hooks.
