I grew up in the Imperial Valley in So. California, just 13 miles from the border. Summer temperatures will be 105 to 120 degrees. My dad would mow as early as he legally do so to beat the heat as much as possible, but he’d still be drenched in sweat by the time he was done. An air conditioned lawn mower would be a dream for the folks back home!
Air Con would be a necessity in a bubble. The Bubble car customs from the 60’s shared a major flaw, no air conditioning, so they were like an oven when driven on a sunny day.
If you should find a chunk of ambergris in the US, BE CAREFUL. I believe it’s considered protected by the Marine Mammal Act and is illegal to possess it.
And pansy also continue to grow all over years later after planting them. They are all over our flower beds, around the strairs and underneath the porch. They’ve not been planted for several years and last had a hanging basket for at least 3 years!

How big was that 2013 $3 mill. piece of ambergris?

The mower would’ve sold better if it included a tv and mini-fridge inside the bubble.

I have a better idea, I don’t cut the grass when it is that hot. I also don’t water it, so it doesn’t grow either.

Yeah let’s kill some more whales for their expensive body portions for perfume for the gentry and their fine ladies.

Modern farmers now have access to GPS guided harvesters.
Perhaps the “Roomba” company could develop an outdoor version to automatically tend to the suburban lawn.

Careful with your handwriting, John. I first read “survive” as “surune.”

It’s all in the name. If they had called it Whale Hairballs it wouldn’t be worth a scent…
