Shouldn’t he be waiting in a ………………… um, ……………. stall?

But Arthur’s time is running out.

Arthur appears to be in a closet opening to a bathroom. What is he waiting for?

Arthur did this in High School too. You’d be going to the supply closet to get erasers, or to the coat closet to get…um your coat, and there he’d be, skulking. Creepy…

How many times have I walked into a closet and forgotten why…

No, I’m asking you.

Never mind.

I’m afraid Arthur suffers brief periods of fugue, and I’m not talking Bach!

Is he going out, or coming in?

Today’s the day he meets with Mrs. Periwinkle Why does she insist on being such a difficult client? Sigh.

Once I leave the closet and grab that umbrella, I’ll have to leave the house! No!!!!

Arthur is having qualms about coming out of the closet….

Can’t say I blame him.. He knows Mrs. Periwinkle is waiting by the bus stop to complain about her cat.. again.

He’s become the monster of his childhood.

If Arthur’s stalling for time, wouldn’t the bathroom be a more appropriate place than the closet to do that?

I don’t blame him one little bit. :)

My whole life has been devoted to stalling for time.

He got farther than me – I tend to stall under the covers.
