Sandra’s going to need a bigger squirrel.

Before it gets rid of you!

Those two squirrels think they are set for life, if only they can figure out how to bring this acorn home.

In hunter-gatherer days, when the hunters killed an elephant, the people moved to where the elephant was.

That would feed all the squirrels for a whole year!

Rocky and Renfield are in awe.

She’s right. If a mighty oak comes from a little acorn, then you don’t want to see what that thing will do.

From little oaks mighty acorns grow.

Perhaps getting hit on the head by humungous acorns is causing the special behavior we see from the residents of Ballard Street.

Oooh nuts!

“Well, if that don’t peel the bark off’n the tree…”

The last place I lived had several ancient oak trees with leaves bigger than dinner plates and acorns just about that size. They sound like boulders hitting the house when they would fall.

Sandra also wishes that the radiation from the local power plant that made those nuts bigger would work on Stephen.

Meanwhile, I don’t understand the comic at all

That acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. That must be a humongous tree.

I don’t know, Sandra. If you have a problem with squirrels in your attic—or wherever—one of those acorns just might be the solution.
