So it is not just the women who have two dimensional suitors.

Never noticed a comb in the back pocket of a Western romantic lead.

I’m glad he’s not calling me " little Missy"

Gary imagines Little Missy saying something like: “Happy Trails to you, Gary, until we meet again.”

The Duke, he’s not.

I’d rather have a Paper Doll to call my own

Than have a fickle-minded real live girl"

Sadly there isn’t a cow anywhere near Gary’s place so the only thing he is going to rustle up is some grub for breakfast…!

Widow Phylis next door just bought herself a new pair of cowboy boots, a ten-gallon hat, and a six-shooter and has plans to corral neighbor Gary at the corner of First and Sequoia.

“Don’t you worry yourself none Maam I’ll protect you from them varmints!” ;o]
