Dogs on Ballard Street do love their hats!

In some groups, dominance battles are played out on the field of battle.

In male baboon society, big teeth win the day.

In the never-ending quest for alpha status between human and dog, particularly male human and male dog, on Ballard Street, hats have long played a significant role.
