And a squirrelier bunch of nuts you’ll never see.

I thought I spotted a UFO then realized it was a manhole cover.

I expect a shower of acorns to rain on their heads shortly.

Those who look up at animal usually get hit with the product of said animal. Old Proverb ( that I just made up).

This was a spur-of-the-moment gathering. It’s like they all just suddenly appeared after their favorite subject showed up.

Of course, there’s no squirrel within a quarter mile of that tree.

It must have been spur-of-the-moment….

None of them even had time to don their squirrel costumes.

They are all pretty squirrely.

Yes, yes they are.

They are all a bit nutty, it would seem.

This can’t be right. Where are their guns?

There once was a gathering of nuts,

and every one of them a klutz.

When then from the right, comes a manhole in flight,

and they all suffer bruises and cuts…

C’mon, somebody would have brought a dog. :)

Bet Scooter is exhausted after treeing that squirrel, I trust the society will reward him with a treat.

Nutmeg was starting to have that weird feeling she was being watched. She couldn’t place it, but it was very strong. She began packing up her meager things and preparing her babies for a long, difficult move.

Good it’s squirrel watching. You don’t want to stand that close under a tree, looking up, if it’s birds.
