Uh oh. Trudie is on the proverbial slippery slope.

I have days like that too….

Many of us have the same problem thinking about the Supreme Court.

The mind makes a terrible master but a very good servant. It takes strong effort to enslave it.

That’s the main cause of sleepless nights. Usually about something that can’t be changed.

Might I suggest a fine single malt from the Ballard Street Distillery?

Uh oh, more thinking about thinking. There’s gonna be a rash of “lock-ups” on Ballard Street! ☺

As they say, practice makes perfect.. once you get the technique down, negative thoughts are pretty easy.

In other words, “It’s Monday”.

Seriously, immediately get up and do something. Negative thoughts do tend to multiply rapidly. If it is about something that needs action, take a small step toward that action. If your day is persistently troubled by negative thoughts, seek professional help from your community.

My method is to tell myself not to go there and force other memories into the forefront of my mind.

Being married to Ted is what is contributing to Trudie’s negative thoughts. Trudie’s mother tried to warn her not to marry Ted, but would Trudie listen? No!
