The invention of Post It Notes are one of the highlights of Ginger’s life.

I’m just glad that Ginger has finally learned how to use a computer.

I knew someone who wrote their passwords on Post-Its and attached them to the front of their computer monitor. [Head slap!]

And that monitor is kind of vintage, too. Yes, I know it’s an old comic strip.

I still make a lot of handwritten notes, but post-its have a tendency to fall off and get lost by the time I need to refer to them.

I have at least 10 post-it notes around my computer. Do I ever act on them, or do what they remind me to do? Nope.

Once in a while I gather up my post-its, review them and discard about half, then leave the remaining ones on my to-do pile.

Well, you can’t carry the monitor into the kitchen with you, so you have to write it on a post-it note and take it with you into the kitchen / garage / yard / car / whatever. What? Put onto your tablet? Transfer it to your phone? What is this? Do you think we live in the future?

I was at Cost Plus not long ago and saw some desktop accessories.

One item was a brightly colored hardcover notebook that looked rather like a slim address and phone book…. only the cover, in big gold letters, said “Passwords.”

The blank lines inside had spaces to write in website names, URLs and passwords.

I couldn’t help laughing out loud.

A young lady working there came over and asked whether anything was wrong.

I showed her the book and said “I was just laughing at this.”

“Oh”, she said “I have one of those.”

I honestly did not know what to say.

Meanwhile… I bet Ginger uses Wite-Out on her monitor, too.

Ginger was thinking about moving away from Ballard Street, but decided to stay. I’m so glad she stuck around.

Don’t see why folk are making fun of Ginger, a very sensible girl I’m guessing and a doughnut says she is a good looking blond as well.
