Muffin always travels with/in her litter box.

The Pulley Club did good for a nice change.

Meanwhile Elwin has to walk outdoors. Men don’t get preference in Elaine’s world. Maybe if Elwin could cough up a hair ball?

I hate to do this, but… comic aside for a moment, I’ve got some bad news to deliver…

It’s about our friend Plods… I had previously brought news about his recovery from a long-awaited lung transplant.

He hadn’t been on GoComics in several months, but had occasionally posted on “Cleo and Company”, and was also in email contact with me until a few weeks ago, saying it was difficult but the doctors said he was doing well.

I started worrying because I hadn’t heard anything since then.

I knew his name and where he lived… so finally, I googled him.

Sadly, I discovered his obituary.

Plods lost his battle with lung disease, and passed away on January 10th, 2023.

So sorry to pass along the news.

He’ll be very much missed.

So it was Muffin who sat under my bird feeder and chased the birds. I hear a coyote got her.

Muffin could use the exercise. Let him/her walk!

The new installation is nice, but the Staff still gets somewhat surly when put on Dumb-Waiter cleanup duty…

Let’s not give my cats any ideas.

Best not leave her out too long! She’ll disappear.!

The idea for Muffin’s transport came from watching Pay-Per-View boxing via cable!!

Be nice to get on the mailing list for catalogs from the Ballard St Pulleys for U Co. They have some truly wonderful designs.. and practical.

I have seen on the Internet a hand-winched device that lowered a collapsible spiral ramp down a couple of floors for letting a cat in and out. It is an ingenious idea for apartment dwellers and was home-made.

Muffin appears to have gotten a ‘spiked’ muffin along with her free ride!

I had a remarkable cat that would greet me from the roof when I got home from work. I could hold up an inverted empty cardboard box and she would stand on the box and ride it down like an elevator. Remarkable cat Vivekat.
