Charles ponders tabling his motion

Or someone asking himself “Just what in tar-nation is going on here?”

Charles and Rupert may be devotees of delicate little tables, but they are also users of big rugged chairs.

Charles positive mood plummets when Rupert points out that there’s not enough room on the table for a croissant.

TODAY’S LIMERICK.

There was a young fellow called Chuck,

Who was completely down on his luck.

No one would gaze,

At his table displays.

“My neighbours just don’t give a toss!”

Perhaps.

Perhaps he’s in that temporary frozen state just before backing away slowly and not making eye contact…

A friendship is born.

Demitasse cups look so out of place on an ordinary cafe’ table.

There is no question about it Charles, you have found another devotee. I think that makes three in all of Ballard St.

or….maybe not…..

More likely of delicate, little cups and saucers. :)
