I could never understand why weather people had to wade out into the flooded street, stand out in the middle of the blizzard or hail or wind storm just to show us that the weather is fierce and people should stay indoors if possible. I used to think that was some sort of weather-person initiation but even the ‘old-timers’ seem to have to pull that stunt. Has anyone ever been swept downstream or gotten frostbite?
This is why I wish comic text wasn’t all caps, the sentence in the second panel made no sense to me until I realized Skip was a name and we’re not skipping something. But then again, I’m not the brightest bulb to begin with.
