Like thinking about bowling steps or shifting car. Does not work out well.

Studies show that bumblebees shouldn’t be able to fly…but the bees never read the study.

Years ago, when I was relatively new to our bowling league, I had a teammate ask me, as I was going up for my turn, what foot I started off on when I start my approach. That was the most awkward ball I’ve ever thrown. Yes, it was a gutter ball.

The ant asked the centipede how he kept track of all those legs. The centipede thought about it for a while… and was never able to walk again.

And while you’re thinking about that; are you ever aware of how hard your tongue presses up against the back of your teeth?

Can’t believe that worked. It’s not like Cap is able to think.

I remember Paul Harvey telling the story back in the ‘90s of some golfer from like the ’20s or ’30s. The guy was like the Arnold Palmet, or Jack Nicholas, or Tiger Woods of his day, winning tournament after tournament. And when he wasn’t winning he was finishing in the top five. A natural talent. He was so good that some publishing company approached him to do a how to book to teach folks how to play and he took them up on it. BIG mistake. In having to think about how he played for the book, he actually forgot how to play. He was never as successful as he had been before the book and finished his golfing career as a local pro as his tournament career was over.
